Animated fun with the BMR1959 gang

Mattel’s BMR1959 dolls move, groove, and swap clothes! As part of the 60th Birthday celebrations of Barbie Millicent Roberts (b.1959), this collection celebrates the fashion heritage of Barbie and showcases how current trends influence the brand. We wanted to join in the fun by creating a mini video featuring all six dolls. Don’t miss the animated air-kiss about 45 seconds in!

The bold, fully poseable, dolls capture the diverse looks found in today’s streetwear culture. From high-low fashion mixes, re-imagined ‘90s gear to juxtaposed patterns, textures, and silhouettes, this curated ensemble is all about personal expression and style. These collectible fashion dolls are fully articulated, presented in streetwear-inspired shoeboxes, and include a BMR1959 logo doll stand for displaying.
