Are your guy dolls tired of playing second fiddle to the girls? Are they dying to get upfront and center stage? Well here’s their chance – get out those feather boas and sequins. Find out what it’s like to walk in heels. It’s ….

RuPaul shows how it should be done. This doll ‘99% Plastic, 1% Woman’ from Integrity Toys, has been body-switched to an articulated Fashion Royalty body. She is supported by the pit crew – Tom of Finland’s Rebel doll and Tyson by Totem. Rebel & Tyson are wearing pieces from their original outfits, RuPaul is wearing a Sterling Silver Rose Barbie gown by Mattel.

Oh c’mon, dude – you could have made a bit more of an effort! Devadoll’s Thewa has just thrown on a cocktail dress from Madame Alexander’s Coco and Cleo giftset and added a coordinating gold evening purse. He didn’t even bother to shave. At least he’s combed his hair. But is that really the best you can do for footwear? Men’s black loafers and socks by Tonner.

It’s a Boy Drag Queen doll by Arsenic and Apple Pie from their Trailer Trash range. Channeling Marilyn Monroe, but not in a good way. Drag Queen wears her original outfit with sandals from Coco and Cleo as above. Are you paying attention Thewa? It’s those little details that make all the difference.

The Tonner boys wear heels and hose in respect to the queen of camp, as they re-enact a scene from Madonna’s Girl Gone Wild video. Barış has worked his wonders – check out the applied chest hair on DIck Tracy (far left) and tattoo sleeves on Davy Crockett! Also in the photo are Sean, Laurent & Yoshio, not looking quite as they did straight out of the box.

Matilda by night, Matt by day!.. Tonner, repainted and wigged by Barış. Matilda wears a Monique wig from Facet’s by Marcia, jewelry from Claire’s, Onyx dress for Deanna Denton by Tonner and MSD-size black patent pumps from eBay.

The original gay dolls, Carlos does a Carmen Miranda and Billy gets a little bit country with more than a hint of Dolly Parton. Billy and Carlos wear their original outfits from Totem.

Ken as you’ve never seen him before: he raided Barbie’s makeup drawer with the help of Barış, and in the dressing-up chest he found a vintage little black dress for Remco’s Lisa Littlechap, a bit of spare tulle, and some stray silver shoes.
