Piccadilly is a golden yellow Mary Quant inspired shopping dress with sheer custom printed nylon floral print collar and sleeves, with contrasting shoes in pale blue, and plaid taffeta shoulder bag. A night of culture at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in Somers & Field 25th Anniversary, a teal blue gabardine crepe evening dress with rhinestones at the neckline and a matching stole lined in yellow silk taffeta. Accessorized with beaded yellow taffeta evening bag. Wiglet from Daisy doll. Ever the art lover at the Hayward Gallery, resplendent in Spring Collection, a party dress of hot pink taffeta with sequin bodice and chiffon overlay. Hot pink taffeta and gold lamé shoulder bag and shoes, gold tone daisy shaped drop earrings. The news in the mews is this Poor Boy ensemble of brown wool pinstripe bellbottom pants, green psychedelic print long sleeve shirt, red paisley tie with pearl tie pin. Accessorized with matching brown wool pinstripe hat, red vinyl boots and belt and a muslin newsprint book bag. The fabric for the blouse, tie, and shoulder bag were custom printed for this outfit. Artful Dodger chic. Pigs might fly at Battersea Power Station in the futuristic Grand Prix, a light blue poly-satin bodysuit and cropped double-breasted jacket with silver buttons. The jacket and matching hat are lined in custom-printed silk chiffon, which is also used for the scarf. Accessorized with silver boots and pink sunglasses with gray lenses. A balancing act at the Barbican wearing National Gallery, a yellow silk custom-printed mini dress with navy blue bow and accents. Navy blue hat, shoes and stockings. The navy blue pyramid-shaped purse with gold chain completes the outfit. As a reflection of the era, these stamps are a UK special edition, issued by the Royal Mail on 13 January 2009, to show British design classics from 1930-60.
